Election Results
Love's Farm resident Stephen Ferguson was elected County Councillor for our division, St Neots East and Gransden, beating Conservative candidate Sam Collins by just 9 votes. Stephen, who has also just been appointed Mayor of St Neots for a second term, ran as an Independent candidate.
In the vote for Mayor of the Combined Authority of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, our District Councillor, Dr Nik Johnson, won a surprise victory for the Labour Party. As a result, Nik is required to step down from the District Council and we expect there to be a by-election in due course. We wish him every success in his new role.
In the final election on May 6th, Darryl Preston, Conservative, was returned as the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire.
