Safer crossing on Hogsden Leys 

Cambridgeshire County Council have agreed to implement a short stretch of double yellow lines around the pedestrian crossing point at the Village Green area which is a popular route used by our youngsters on the route to and from school.

Vehicles parked adjacent to the crossing severely restrict visibility and there have been a number of reported near misses on the crossing as a result.

Love's Farm Community Association have worked with the county council to ensure that the extent of the restrictions solves the problem with the least possible inconvenience to surrounding residents.


Questions and concerns can be directed to the project engineer, Karen Lunn. The restrictions are expected to be implemented in the next month or so.
