Cambridge Road Update - 16/05/2019 

The latest update from Urban & Civic is as follows:

• Traffic lights are scheduled to be removed from Dramsell Rise roundabout by around the middle of week beginning 20th May
• Work will then move to construct a new T-junction close to the site of the current works entrance, east of the Stone Hill roundabout. This work is anticipated to take around 4 weeks and will require traffic lights; however, these are not expected to be as disruptive as the current works as the controls will mainly be 2-way and can be switched off while work is not taking place.
• Final surface will be laid on the roundabouts (including making good the trenches which cross Cambridge Road) in the coming weeks, which will then allow the cones to be removed and the full width of the roundabouts restored.
