Parking Latest 

Cambridgeshire County Council officers have published their report, outlining the objections that were raised to the parking scheme in the recent consultation.

Their recommendation is that the scheme should go ahead. Whilst the plans remain unchanged, they are recommending that in response to objections received that the implementation of lines on Hogsden Leys should be deferred on a section starting west of Cockrells and continuing almost to the bus gate.

The deferred section could be implemented if needed any time within 2 years of the original proposal without re-publishing.

A final decision on the scheme will be taken at a meeting on 4th March.
