Speed Watch - help needed 

Community Speed Watch is a community-operated feedback scheme designed to allow unpaid volunteers to officially monitor and report to the police the details of speeding vehicles in specific areas where speeding is of concern to the community.

With the support of our local police and councillors, we are considering setting up a Speed Watch scheme on Love's Farm, but we can only do this with the help of enough volunteers.

Full training will be given and equipment provided.

This is not an enforcement scheme. The registered owner of any vehicle seen exceeding the speed limit is sent an advisory letter from their local neighbourhood policing team, explaining that speeding is unacceptable to the local community.
