Love's Farm Scarecrow Festival
Last summer we realised that lots of villages hold a scarecrow festival locally. We have FARM in the name but we've never had a festival here on Love's Farm.
As from today we are launching our first ever SCARECROW FESTIVAL.
All you have to do to take part is make a scarecrow and put it up outside your house.
Email a photo and your name to
emma.lovelock@ourlovesfarm.co.uk by 22nd August and we will put all entries on the website. From 25th August you will be able to vote for your favourite, with the winner announced on Sunday 31st August at the BIG LUNCH.
There's no theme, so you can do whatever you wish. Not got any straw - no problem, I currently have bags on my front lawn for you to collect (49 Wood Ridge Crescent, just across the grass from the Indian Camp playground). Please help yourself. One bag should enable you to make two scarecrows (if you fill the main body with newspaper) so share with neighbours or friends. A big thanks to Derek from The Pightle Millenium Green for the supply of straw. The Pightle is a lovely bit of hidden St neots. To find out more please visit
www.eatonsoconpightle.org.uk.
So let's show St Neots how we do scarecrow festivals, Love's Farm style!
Good luck and get making!
