Northern Access - Update

Our petition for the opening of the northern access to all vehicles went before the Cabinet of Cambridgeshire County Council at Shire Hall yesterday morning (27th November 2013) and I presented the case to the councillors and answered questions on the issue.

The cabinet member for Highways and Infrastructure, Cllr Mac McGuire, is due to respond in writing to the petition within 10 days.

The petition attracted 335 signatures and has been featured in today's Hunts Post. Further press coverage is expected next week.

Thanks Marcus. Do you have an outline of the points you made at the meeting. Given I presume the LFCA to be an impartial body, would I be right in assuming that both for and against arguments were made? Do you expect to be able to circulate minutes from the meeting? If not, I can ask Mac for them. Did anyone else from Loves Farm attend and was it publicised when this meeting was due to take place. It seems a little disingenuous with process to feedback after the event? Finally, when you say "our" to whom are you referring? Thanks
