Station Footbridge

It has been annouced that the Department of Transport has pledged an additional £1m of funding to provide the footbridge from Love's Farm across to the station, together with disabled access. This is in addition to funding already provided by the developers.

The bad news, currently, is that nothing is promised before March 2014 which is when all projects provided with the 'Access for All' funding from the DoT must be complete. However, nothing definite has been announced by Network Rail in respect of St Neots specifically, though planning is expected to be completed over the next 12 months - at which point we should expect a more detailed announcement.
