Week 4: There's no such thing as the dog poo fairy

poofairy

So, we have come to the end of the month long campaign called 'there is no such thing as the dog poo fairy'. However, we have had just an amazing response from volunteers willing to spray poo and parents thanking us for highlighting it, so that children can play in our green spaces, without having to play 'avoid the dog poo' at the same time. So...we are continuing and changing the colour to a yellow this time.

Last week we shared a map of the worst places on Love's Farm for dog fouling. The Paddock Close pathway in particular has been sprayed multiple times and the same owner has left the dog waste, even next to a sprayed one! We need to be vigilant and if you see an owner walk past without picking up after their dog, offer them a bag.

The Community Association have also paid for some stickers and posters to highlight the campaign.

We need your help. If you dislike the dog fouling on Love's Farm, take action, get in touch with keela.shackell@ourlovesfarm.co.uk to discuss what we can do to tackle this.
